Contractor License

Certain contractors are required to register with the Village of Glenview or provide a copy of their license before beginning work within the corporate limits of the Village.


Contractors may submit their registration online or via printed submission. A change of contractors form must also be filed with the Village if a work permit has already been issued for a project.


See below for the fees and documents required of contractors. Types of contractors not listed below do not require registration with the Village. Contact the Inspectional Services Department with any questions at (847) 904-4330.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Holidays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
